So another day in the neighborhood…what happened? you might ask… well I will tell ya…
got a paper jam in the zook tod…yep and not a fun one either.
i tried the usual…ha lemme talk like a pro on the zook..only 2nd job with it
So…i swigged it in water and got the needle nose pliers and ripped it out…. still jammed
what’ da?
looked in there with the eyeballs and could see metal thing, and …
tried sending my utility knife…full blade through there hitting on the metal…
finally figured it out…it was the cutter…all i had to do was move the middle shaft…the cutter/advancer
ya…it was stuck in position..and thus had a little chunk of metal in the way and paper tape could not advance
What Else happened Tod?
Well..almost got the numbers and money mixed up with customer.
which ain’t good…but we got it smoothed out
1st mistake….giving leeway where unwaranted
meaning…if customer asks…when do you want your money…either run out there and get it asap or have him send it
or nail down a date and time…and receive it
do not say…oh it’s okay, i’ll be around there the better part of the day…you can get it to me then
2nd mistake….50% on top of 25% initial down pay
when they ask how much…i.e 50%…just give them a dollar amount…it lessens the confusion and possible embarrassment later of them handing you 500 bones, when in fact that was only 25% and you wanted 50%
just calculate and tellem… that will be another $900 sir… date/time (pay before you take one tool off your truck)
this is the DRywall DIary 4 tod
enjoy
